This illustrated map of Poreč was created in collaboration with Blue Poreč, a boutique shop nestled on the Adriatic coast, known for its deep connection to local heritage and laid-back seaside charm. The project was designed to capture the spirit of the town through a playful and contemporary visual approach, highlighting its historic landmarks, coastal atmosphere, and Mediterranean character.
Through hand-drawn illustrations, soft textures, and carefully selected colours, the map transforms Poreč into a warm and engaging visual experience rather than a traditional tourist guide. The goal was to create a piece that feels both informative and artistic, something visitors could explore, keep, and connect with emotionally. Inspired by the rhythm of coastal life, local architecture, and everyday moments by the sea, the final illustration reflects the authenticity and charm of Poreč in a modern and approachable way.
The illustrated map was expanded into a small collection of lifestyle and souvenir products, extending the visual identity beyond print into everyday objects inspired by coastal living. The collection included tea towels, fabric baskets, and greeting cards, all featuring elements of the illustrated map and its Mediterranean-inspired motifs.
