My name is Željka.
I’m a Zagreb-based illustrator and graphic designer, creating fun, bold, and playful visuals that bring projects to life. My inspiration lives in the beauty of everyday moments, plants, people, food, nature, shapes, and the quiet strength of powerful women. Through my work, I try to balance simplicity with vibrancy, turning small observations into something expressive and full of character.
That’s the polished version, the one that sounds like I always know exactly what I’m doing.
In reality, my journey started with a simple screen-printing kit and a lot of curiosity. What began as hand-printing fabric slowly turned into experimenting with techniques, making mistakes, learning as I go, and eventually falling in love with patterns, textiles, and illustration. I still don’t have everything figured out. I mostly follow what feels right and see where it leads.
I value the freedom this path gives me: to explore, to change, to express myself in ways that feel honest (even when they’re imperfect). It can be uncertain at times, but creating and sharing what I create is what keeps me grounded.
I’m still growing, still experimenting, still becoming.
